I have a ONE year old…

Wow…I am shocked at how fast this year has gone! We just celebrated Wyatt’s first birthday yesterday! We sure had a blast! He is our little dodger boy! Ryan & I were talking about this past year! God is really teaching us new things everyday. He has worked in our lives so much this past year. He has blessed us with the best gift ever…parenthood! We have had a few hurdles along the way, but nothing has broken our relationship or trust with Him…He is watching over us each day, and guides us down these uncertian paths! We are so excited to see what he has planned for us during the next year!

We love love you all so much for taking the time to share in Wyatt’s life! Much love for all your support during the last year!

Pumpkin Patch…

Wow…this was so much fun. Wyatt enjoyed all the animals and funny noises!! Ryan, Sandy (Memaw), Wyatt, & I spent hours last Saturday at Underwood Family Farms in Moorpark.

Dodger Fun…

The Carpenter family had some fun at Dodger Stadium during the last home series! Wyatt enjoyed his many Dodger adventures this season!! We are sure to train him right…Bleed Dodger Blue!!! Enjoy a few fun photo’s of the Carpenter crew!

Reading your Bible…?

Ryan & I have challenged each other to read our Bible everyday. We realized how busy we were getting and how often our Bibles were collecting dust!! God has brought so much joy into my life after making this new commitment. Reading the Bible is something I look forward to each and everyday!! I am excited about what I will learn. I have a personal study I am currently doing, however, I thought I would share something that Ryan and I started doing back before we were married!! Reading a ‘Proverb-A-Day’.

The book of Proverbs has 31 chapters…one chapter each day of the month. If there are only 30 days in the month I read chapter 30 & 31. I wanted to share a few verses from my readings today!! ENJOY!

Proverbs 15: 29-33

29The LORD is far from the wicked
but he hears the prayer of the righteous.

30 A cheerful look brings joy to the heart,
and good news gives health to the bones.

31 He who listens to a life-giving rebuke
will be at home among the wise.

32 He who ignores discipline despises himself,
but whoever heeds correction gains understanding.

33 The fear of the LORD teaches a man wisdom,
and humility comes before honor.

Go Dodgers!!!

We love our Dodgers!! Wyatt has attended 4 games and will be attending a few more before the season is over!!! His favorite song is ‘Take Me Out To The Ball Game’!! Enjoy a few pictures of Wyatt with his Mema & Papa Hamlin during a game this summer!!

Wyatt’s First Vacation

Wyatt is such a good little traveler!! We took him on his first little adventure to Palm Springs during the month of July. We did lots of swimming, laying around the condo, and hanging out with the family. Marriott in Palm Desert has a small little lake on the property where they have boat rides each day. Wyatt enjoyed his first boat ride with Ryan & I. Our driver had a special life jacket for him to wear. It was a little on the big side!!

We are looking forward to many more family vacations as a family!!

Wyatt went swimming…

Ryan and I took Wyatt to Mamaw & Papaw’s pool to swim with his cousins Sarah, Tom, Eli, & Sam. Wyatt’s 1st adventure in the pool was exciting!! He is growing so much each day and is developing such a cute personality. Wyatt truly is a blessing to our lives, and we are excited to document all the fun adventures.

Our little fish (Wyatt) will be swimming on his own before we now it!! I love this picture of my dad…he was sitting by the pool enjoying the grand-kids splashing around in the pool. We look forward to many more days like these with the family!!

I would have to say that I am a very blessed young lady. God has truly blessed my life in many ways. I have a loving husband and beautiful son. Amazing parents, who love God and who have raised me to love God…what more can a girl ask for. I have a great brother who married a great girl who have 4 great kids!! And to top it off…I have cool in-laws…it’s the truth people…I have cool in-laws!!! God is good! God has truly blessed me!

I’m Home!!!

It sure feels good to sleep in my own bed!! I am VERY happy to be home. The past 17 days were very trying in many ways. God has worked in my life more than I can express in words. I am so blessed to have such amazing family & friends. Thank you for all your prayers, love, support, and encouragement during this very tough journey!
